One of the most important Houston Space Society projects at present is the Operation Lightning Strike Justice Watch. A number of our good friends were tortured by the FBI and coerced into guilty pleas. We are watching with some satisfaction as these men regain their appeal rights and fight back. The only person who refused to plead guilty, Dale Brown, is monitoring the situation closely.
We anticipate the OLS Justice Watch evolving into a more substantial legal defense project. Thus far we've gotten a few expressions of interest in what we have been generally calling "Defending Individual Liberty Beyond Earth Really Thoroughly" because government reminds us so much of DILBERT.
